"This game You'll battle cultists, gargoyles, zombies, hellhounds, and an unholy host of other terrors in your quest to stop Tchernobog. You must not only defeat the Cabal--you must scour its dread name from human memory. If that means eradicating everyone and everything the Cabal has ever tainted, so be it.

Of course, you'll first have to make your way through fortresses, castles, mines, mansions, and estates guarded and kept by Tchernobog's malevolent servants. Fortunately, it is wits that make the hero, and although you're in serious danger of losing yours, you've got enough left to improvise some pretty effective tools of destruction. Aerosol hairspray can be frightening enough on its own, but apply it to a
lighter flame and you've got an instant flamethrower (kids, don't try this at home!). Likewise, a flare gun can brighten your prospects considerably against even the grimmest odds, which is to say nothing for shotguns, Tommy guns, and dynamite. Who knows, you may even find that there are some spirits on your side when you find yourself clutching a voodoo doll."

I first tried the game at lowest resolution to see what it would be like, and I was very satisfied with the outcome. You can wonder how much more realistic it would be at a higher resolution. I am a Quake fanatic, and this has to be one of my picks for the best game of the year. Game speed was swift, I noticed no slowdowns during the whole time I was playing. Along with superb graphics and super excellent sound effects.

There is a big selection of weapons to choose from on your quest. One of the weapons I enjoyed using was the dynamite. I could take out a big quantity of enemies with one launch and see all those bad guys blow up with enough blood for everyone. The dynamite was also useful for blowing up barrels. When you blew up a barrel, the person you were controlling would laugh and a huge hole in the wall would appear, depending on where the barrel was placed. One more funny part I noticed was when I entered into one room there was a phone ringing, I went over to the phone to pick it up and someone had said something really funny, his words were "May I speak to Mr. Jazz, first name Hugh". If you piece those two things together, you will probably know what
they are trying to say. The weapons are extraordinary and the effects are unbelievable.

I loved the fact that when you blew up one of the zombies their skull would fall off and you would be able to kick it around and possibly kick it towards another enemy and injure it. Another nice weapon that was included is the flare gun. You would shoot an enemy and it would hit the enemy but not ignite until a few seconds later. They would catch on fire and slowly die away a painful death. =)

The game gives you a great challenge and brings you into a true world of 3d gaming. They put allot of effort into this game and bring you something that is truly unreal. This is surely to be a big success when the final version comes available.

I recommend this game to all you 3D gaming fans. This is something I can never put down but keep playing. Blood 3D also included multiplaying and also comes with an option to play on TEN. Download the shareware version and give it a try. Excellent work Monolith!
