My Tone is mis-directed, and I apologies. Being said that I was a part of that thug activity/participation at there site, rub me the wrong way. I never was nor wanted to be part of anything he does.

I just don't know how it could have been so wrong in the first place. Anyway thanks for the change.

Yeah, okay. Tone is hard to detect on the Internet and I had a hard day so I was a little offput myself. I think we can forget about it. I also understand your frustration regarding the hosting thing. And in terms of miscontruing things, well, you were under the impression that our wiki was dead, so appearances can be decieving. Anything you would like added to the article? I will probally be trying to add more to it based on your old news posts.

I haven't read the article yet, but you can check my ABOUT page too if that will help fill in what RTCM and I are.

Yeah I thought the Blood Wiki was dead , maybe cause I went to the old url, or the information of old and links where incorrect. That was awhile ago that I checked on it, been a few years, until recently, when you popped about on this forum.

Again, sorry. You seem like a decent person.

Well, I admit my brother Tchernobog was a bit surprised that there was still people unaware of the current URL for the wiki. Particularly given he has seen you around on Transfusion Forums. Mind you, I am sure you know how that feels given your own hosting changes, particularly since they were under acrimonious terms (in our case Deathmask and Willis have been dream hosts). And I appreciate the apolagies, and offer my own for misreading you. It is very rare for things to remain this civil on the internet. Thanks.

I seen Tchernobog on the Transfusion forum. I never spoke with him or what not. I don't think signatures are allowed in forum posts over there either, hence I don't recall seeing a url. IDK.

I really reviewed the blood wiki several years ago and it was outdated. My visit to the new wiki seemed things where outdated, but I guess they are improving now.

NP about the apologies. I don't think you misread my statement, it was defiantly mis-directed however.

Yeah RTCM been around since 1997, so have I since I made it and did most of the work. I just can't believe it's been 20 years tho. Anyhow due to the site being stolen and reposted, I have different internal policy's and ethics now.

Well, not sure what about it all is outdated exactly. Personally I would say at this point the main thing the wiki is lacking is details on more techinical topics such as MapEdit and the inner quirks of the Blood branch of Build (well, and stuff for DEdit and Blood II, but that is really obscure). Seeing as that is mostly out of my personal area of expertise.

My own site will turn 10 next year, and by most standards I am a comparative newcomer. So yeah, time really does fly.

No, not all outdated, just a bunch of dead or wrong links pointing to dead or gone sites, I seem to recall.

Is your site about Blood, or is it a personal site, just wondering, so i know if i should link it or not.

Yeah, I'm personally not interested in Blood II stuff, unless that stuff makes a come back on the updated Blood/BUILD Engine combo that everyone's waiting for to happen. (The original team is waiting for the rights to be done up and transferred to Jace Hall, if he can make that happen, he's been working on it for awhile now).

Aha, I got you now. Yeah, link rot can always be a problem. Though I do leave dead links in sometimes, marked deprecated, because the old URL is sometimes itself valuble imformation. Particularly for lookup in the Wayback Machine. I also try and stash links to help people find pertinent content, making it harder to verify they all work.

The wiki is about Blood and Blood II, but yes, it is a specialized site on these topics for general audiences. A link would be most appreciated.

And no, I imagine Blood II would not directly tickle your fancy, since Build itself seems to be what is of particular interest to you. As for Jace Hall and co, yeah, one does have to wonder if that will ever just finally come about through sheer enthusiasm. Sadly, Jace has a habit of overtalking his hand re:negotiating with Atari/Warner Bros.
