I would like to import new textures .
Specifically, a wall , ceiling fresco . What size should it have, so it does not repeat ?

Why would there not be a way? It all depends on the size of the ceiling and the texture.

That's why I'm asking, but on a determined size the pictures are shown severely discolored . The area is large as follows ;

8 width x 3 length , measured in boxes with the largest grid .

Largest grid size = 64 pix so it needs to be 512 x 96.
I find the question quite simple actually, it isn't hard to figure out.

Thanks, I have already tried such a resolution .
On the wall it gets displayed correct , on the ceiling pixelated , warped and flickering .

Try to rotate the picture 90 degrees and import again, it might help.
I've done this once before with the textures for French Meat 2.

The display error still exists . On the wall displayed correctly on the ceiling incorrectly ...

I have no idea what's wrong, all I know is that tiles are stored 90 degrees (not sure if it's CCW or CW), this has something to do with quicker reading it by the engine or something.

hmm, I´m going to try a little around :)
How can I import textures with a transparent background ?
A lettering for example ?

Draw or type a text, then apply the Blood palette and select everything that isn't text and fill it with purple (index 255).

About the ceiling textures:
- 256 x 256 is the max. unexpanded* size.
- 96 x 512 expanded works but the width will be truncated to 48.
- 256 x 512 expanded works, it is shown correctly.
- 512 x 256 does not work at all; garbled.

*You can expand a texture by pressing [E].
